Old Blind Dogs. have added a new member to their line-up with the addition of 20 year-old multi-instrumentalist Fraser Fifield. Fraser, who will play lowland pipes, whistles and saxophone with the band recently completed a degree in music at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. His previous experience includes work with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Tannas, Mick West and Wolfstone. The band are currently working in an Aberdeenshire recording studio where they are preparing their fifth album for release on the Lochshore label, due for release in the Spring of 1997. .The Open Road were formed in the summer of 1994, when singer/guitarist's
Peter Dunhill and Rick Christian teamed, up
they soon recruited singer Lucy-Sian as the third member of the group.
Combining first class vocals, as well as excellent musicianship, featured
songs are by writers such as Lyle Lovett; Kate Wolf; James Taylor, Leonard
Cohen, and others, as well as some Rick Christian originals.
