@ - A character "button" linking to futher information (within Fol-de-rol) on the artist, biography, recordings etc..
Wherever possible, links to agencies outside the Fol-de-rol collective
will be marked with the symbol
.
The one way symbol denotes that you are leaving the Fol-de-rol system,
hence if you keep an off line copy of Fol-de-rol these links will not work
unless you make additional arrangements. However note that because it is
intended that some aspects of the Fol-de-rol system will operate as a collective
it is not possible to guarrantee that all exits are so marked.
Colour Coding and graphics.
Colour Coding is used to infer additional information. Every attempt will be made to ensure that the system is still usable by those unable to make use of colour or graphics. If anyone experiences difficulties please let me know and I will try to identify a solution.
The use of graphics will be minimal, in line with keeping the system load times as low as possible.
Recordings
Green (and/or the
symbol)
denotes that the recording is thought (this is assumed if in doubt) to
be no longer available except from second hand sources. They are included
for completeness/history.
Brown denotes an item of peripheral interest
(rock, foreign artist).
Grey - indicates an entry which
is incomplete or availability is unknown.
Biographies
Green (and/or the
symbol)
denotes that the artist is dead or the band disbanded. Levels of green
for retired artists have been considered but found impractical and grey
is used to denote this.
Brown may be used to denote peripheral
interest (rock, foreign artist) coments please.
Green for the artist name will
take precedence if a further colour code is used.
Grey indicates that the artist is retired.
